Today the practice of Reiki is being used at home, in hospitals and in hospices
as a complementary therapy that is accessible to all. It is a system first of all
of self- development, designed to increase harmony and balance in one’s body, mind
spirit and life. Its strength is that it is easy to learn, anyone of any age
and background can practice it. The more you use it, the more it grows within you.
Someone who is practising Reiki should be able to trace his or her lineage of teachers
back to Dr Usui either via Mrs.Takata or Dr Hayashi or other students of Dr Usui
via Usui-do or the Japanese Reiki Gakkai. By the end of his life Dr Usui had taught
many students and there are many potential lineages.
Reiki healing/courses
Usui/Holy Fire (R) Reiki, level 1 – Shoden
First degree Reiki is open to anyone with an interest in Reiki. No previous knowledge or experience is required. It is ideal for people who are interested in using Reiki on themselves, family or friends. It is also the essential foundation to become a Reiki practitioner or master/teacher.
The course is held over 2 days. Each day starts at 10.30am and finishes at 4.30pm.
Students are provided with a beautiful manual to keep, covering important aspects of the course. A certificate is awarded on successful completion of the course
. Ongoing support and advice are offered to the student long after course completion including Reiki shares.
Aspects of the course to include:
History, the Reiki degrees, chakras, self-healing, healing others and much, much more.
Investment is £130.00. A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to hold your place on the course at least three weeks prior to start date. Remainder paid on the first day of the course.
Reiki healing/courses
level 2 – okuden
Minimum prerequisite qualification for second degree Reiki is that students must have completed a first degree course. You will have been working with the Reiki energy and completed 35 hours recorded treatments on other people (1 supervised) and 50 hours of recorded self treatments. Successful completion of second degree Reiki will take you to practitioner level. A comprehensive course which includes being introduced to three sacred Reiki symbols and their mantras. These symbols will enable you to intensify the flow of energy, target energy for emotional healing and send Reiki to anywhere in the world with the same effect/outcome as if they were sitting in front of you.
The course is held over two days. Each day starts at 10.30am and finishes at 4.30pm.

Aspects of the course covered are:
Sacred symbols, how to draw them, meditation, Reiki and gemstones, Reiki and animals, setting up a Reiki practice, codes of ethics, basic anatomy & physiology, insurance and much, much more. Techniques used from both Western and Japanese traditions.

Reiki healing/courses
Advanced practitioner course. (Healing Master)
Prior qualifications and experience required – must have completed Reiki levels one and two. You will have completed 50 hours of recorded Reiki treatments on other people (2 supervised) and 75 recorded self treatments. A comprehensive course which will include being introduced to sacred symbols and mantras. Healing with sound, Reiki and pregnancy are just a couple of sections covered on the course. The course is held over four days. Two days one week and two days the following week. Each day starts at 10.30am and finishes at 4.30pm. Students are provided with a beautiful manual to keep, covering aspects of the course. A certificate is awarded on successful completion of the course. Ongoing support and advice are offered to the student long after course completion including Reiki shares. .
